Richard was born in Oxford but returned to Guernsey with his local parents before his second birthday.
Richard spent 20 years in the merchant navy and worked for Sark Shipping as an Engineer on numerous Vessels before moving into an office role as operations manager.
Having taken a career change Richard transferred his skills to fire protection sprinkler systems.
He has completed IQ Level 2 Certificate in Fire Sprinkler Installation (QCF) and has RSA Residential Sprinkler Association Certification in Installation and Maintenance.
Richard's experience spans seven years in the fire protection industry and he is currently working towards a FIRAS Design qualification.

Conor moved to Guernsey in 1995 and joined the financial services industry in 1997 qualifying as an Independent Financial Advisor in 1999.
In 2000 Conor became a mortgage broker and after working for several brokerages, set up Oracle Finance with Martyn in 2010.
Oracle has grown to be a major player in the mortgage broking market in Guernsey and has built strong relationships with all high street lenders on the island and are proud to be an exclusive broker for HSBC on the island.
Conor strives to provide a personal experience across all mortgage clients and has built a strong reputation for his excellent customer service and innovative solutions.
In his spare time, Conor enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and keeping fit (or at least trying to!).

Martyn Loveridge
Martyn was born in Guernsey and developed a career in financial services. Having worked for the Prudential where he was promoted to Island Manager until they withdrew from the island. He then set up Network Insurance in 1996 and having sold the business in 2008, took early retirement. In 2010 he then set up Oracle with Conor.
Oracle now has a team of 19 and are proud to be the only company in Guernsey that offers mortgage broking services, peer to peer lending, consumer finance, insurance services and financial planning.
Martyn has a strong insurance background and has built a reputation for providing ideal solutions to both local and trust company clients. Oracle insure everything from cars to houses to superyachts and has a specialist ‘high net worth’ team providing bespoke insurance solutions to both individuals and local trust companies.
